机械工程技术的领域包括机械设计（Mechanical Design），能源利用（Energy Utilization），建筑空调（Building Air Conditioning），相关业务的经济性等等。机械工程技术旨在于培育专长于工程的实践， 如：产品改进（Product Improvement），工业实践（Industrial Practices）和工程业务（Engineering Operational）等，且善于分析，应用，实施和加强现有的技术的毕业生。
此科系的学生主修汽车技术，课程内容囊了汽车的各个系统。如：发动机科技（Engine Technology）、车辆动态学（Vehicle Dynamics）、车辆发动机（Vehicle Engine）及汽车悬架系统(Vehicle Suspension System)等等。毕业生将有能力应用其数学，科学和工程基础知识于所需的程序，流程和系统以及应用于各行业的工程方法。
